The day job was closed friday through today for the Memorial Day weekend. It was a good thing because I had a lot of catching up to do on a few custom orders from my last craft show and Etsy.
First up, a table topper and two placemats. I made a table runner from this fabric, but met a woman at the Nyack show that wanted a smaller table centerpiece and two matching placemats. They are a gift for her daughter who is moving into her first apartment.
Next was a custom notebook case. I love the pink polka dots but I get quite a few requests for other colors and am always happy to oblige.
The day to celebrate dads is right around the corner so I have been making “grill king” towels and finished a custom apron order.
I got the sequins for these pillows (and the idea for sequined pillows) from Jane in Sydney. I made a couple but didn’t use a good background color. However I did get an order at the last craft show so I whipped these up with a black cotton back. I am not selling these on etsy as Jane has them in her shop, but made a few extra for craft shows.
Busy weekend! Tomorrow when I get home from work I plan to so some personal sewing – a girl I work with is getting a baby quilt and my stepdaughter graduates high school in a month. Lots to do!>
